Based on a true phenomenon
Ambitious effort that unfortunately has gone unnoticed by much of the horror audience. The "Shadow People" is an unexpectedly terrifying film that introduces the most unusual supernatural entities as "attraction" of terror.
The format of the project is strange. Starts with videos from youtube where users submit their paranormal experiences. Then we know the radio presenter and film's protagonist Charlie Crowe. After some frightening telephone calls which made in Charlie the eerie and deadly attacks by the so-called shadow people, the presenter is persuaded of the existence of this threat and tries to inform promptly the world.
In case entangled and a scientist from the CDC (Center for disease control and response) which seeks rational explanations for the phenomenon of shadow people and advises the Charlie what to do or not to do and where should orient their research more generally.
Although the duo of actors and their movements don't differ particularly from respective protagonists of many supernatural horror films, the subject and investigate the way the approach is of great interest. The more rasionalistiki attitude of scientist collides with the conspiratorial attitude of radio presenter creating suspense about what will eventually prevail.
The film is dedicated to the victims of the "Sudden Unexpected Nocturnal Death Syndrome (SUNDS)", a rare syndrome in which the individual dies during his sleep by various causes that are not always understood at the outset (asthma attack, epilepsy, etc.)
The exciting research of Heroes adorned with sporadic moments of genuine terror every time the spooky shadow forms attack the unsuspecting victims. Another point that is of interest and associated with the freakish form of film, is inserting shots from ' documentary ' that show the alleged real persons behind the protagonists and deposit information on the subject of shadow people.
However there are a few shots from true documentary namely "Your Worst Nightmare" of 2008 which blended with the mockumentary footage, add-ons more video from youtube, and the normal flow of the film. All very well but somewhere seems to act to the detriment of cohesion. A mini chaos emerges that fortunately didn't seriously harms the "Shadow People".
The film closes dramatically but somewhat abruptly with the final scene, however, is probably the tromaktikoteri of the entire film. However a positive addition to the feeble supernatural scope despite its disadvantages. Tsekarete the "Shadow People" at the first opportunity, especially if you are fond of the supernatural and of «ntokimentaristikis» filmmaking.

The ' realistic ' and ' focused ' approach, some very frightening scenes that frozen blood, remarkable interpretations.
The interpolation of footage from youtube and documentary scenes is not always successful and matching with the plot, the incomplete development of some characters.
