Let's go straight to the Chase! A plane lands in unspecified airport in defiance of any hint of airport authorities and without giving a signal to the control tower. Police and army go directly in the landing area with their weapons ready for every eventuality. In the same place has come and a reporter (Hugo Stiglitz) local channel with the cameraman covering the mobilisation. Without much delay, the door of the plane opened, hordes of mutants from radioactivity people rushing in soldiers ruthlessly slaughtering and eating their flesh. The reporters with his partner the crashing early and the first returning to channel interrupts the program to inform the public about the heinous event.

With this impressive "in our face" intro begins "Nightmare City" the Italian Umberto Lenzi causing an early shock the unprepared spectator. Although the film follows the logic of Italian typical zombie movies influenced by the relevant films of Romero, the creator himself described as a "disease of radioactivity" in antimilitarist and antinuclear undertones. We can (and the horror audience) generally to engage in traditional subclass zompotainias and even of the most particular of Italian cinema.

Horror Trivia

The Director didn't like the Hugo Stiglitz on the role of the protagonist. This actor was chosen following pressure from the producer to the Lenzi in the run-up to attract the Mexican market since Stiglitz is Mexican.

After the dynamic import the film follows frantic pace with few pauses for breath. Polluted by radioactivity pollute their victims through bites and spread with great rapidity in scattered parts of the city spreading havoc. The reporter who saw the tragic events at the airport struggles to find his wife and take her away from danger. So does a quarterback on his own. But the zombies seem to be gaining ground and the survivors attempt to escape seems very tricky now.

Evaluating the "Nightmare City" should not forget that we are talking about B movie with the known problematic features. Most interpretations are from moderate to poor and scenario of excesses and simplifications. It is true that the "Nightmare City" smell "tyrila" periodically to a somewhat disturbing extent. But ultimately manages to seem ' serious ' even in spite of five without falling into the category of those chazotainiwn who see to laugh with your friends. In plus apart of kataigistikoy tempo, many and enjoyable scenes of battles zombies with civilians or soldiers. It is possible, realistic scenes and executed with much but much gore. There are some murders highlight for singling out from the rest like a fly inside the milk.

The end causes mixed reactions though graphs belongs to those who favour as it intensifies the nightmare that saw unfolding even with his own "easy" way. The zombies here are even more dangerous than known slow zombies similar films, after running as a normal person and demonstrate relatively increased intelligence at least to use firearms. Airplane koymantaran here will tell me, guns will kwlwnan?! Dissonance is the kakoftiagmeno make-up of zombies which look to came out of mud. However, fun is guaranteed with the monitoring of the "Nightmare City" and that's what counts most.

Plenty of suspense, kataigistikos rhythm, rich action with many battles, rich and delectable gore.

Failed make-up, exaggerations and conveniences in the scenario, a controversial finish, moderate interpretations.
