Do You Know Where Your Grandmother Is Tonight?
"A Murder a Day Keeps the Landlord Away!"

Case: In "Homebodies" watching the crazy adventure of a small group of elderly people whose homes are going to be demolished and in their place to build modern apartment buildings. The elderly take the skull and kill everyone involved in the building project or harass them.

To an unknown horror brilliance that many people probably ignore. I remember how I was impressed by the creepy cover of the golden age of VHS: people fall from the skyscraper and gruesome distorted figures watching! Creepy… really creepy …
"Homebodies" so gentlemen and minds in Rails! It is a surprise that movie combines horror, comic detail, dramatic atmosphere and shockingly social messages. The case concerns a group of elderly people who learn that the old building complex in which they reside is to be demolished to build in place of complex modern tall buildings. Residents of condemned the old building would have to leave once and for all from their apartments to be placed in a specially designed building that resembles a huge nursing home. By refusing to compromise with the new emerging reality, 6 senior citizens trying to save the beloved resident doing everything possible to stop the relevant work already started in a skyscraper in their area. And how do they do it? Murdering workers, contractors, social workers and generally any standing or threatens their stay!

The idea is really eyrimatikotati. Certainly the image of the elderly killer role in itself is shocking. Noteworthy is also some ways that made the killing operations. For example, carry out sabotage work in nearby skyscraper teasing technical equipment to workers caused horrible "accidents". So we see a worker to do dip into the void from a great height due to breaking of cable lifting the drive up to the skyscraper and three farm workers fired after electric "damage" to an external elevator. But surely the most shocking scene is drowning an obnoxious agent in cement! It is perhaps one of the most appalling and sick murder scenes we encounter on tape! And like (bloody) icing on the cake, the cut and the half tread with AX because it protruded from the concrete ' Tomb '!

Horror Trivia

The elderly Paula Trueman actor who then faced serious problems with her eyesight, did exercises in the horizontal bar in her audition to prove to the creators of the film that can handle the role.

Apart from the ingenious killing, the film is interesting both for the black humor and social concerns that creates in the Viewer. The image of desperate and doomed older conjures unpleasant phenomena such as ignoring the social environment for the elderly people, the cruelty of the State towards them in a variety of cases, abandonment and mistreatment often experienced by these people. The figures of the elderly in particular is obscure and Homebodies. There is the cold of the group still enough physical strength to undertake a key role in killing acts, the timid wife who worry about their actions, a tough, leading and with paranoid look old who attends "totally random" "accidents" in the nearby skyscraper, a dynamic blind man and a writer who is writing his memoirs for many years. To these is added a little more new, salemeni woman who hasn't left her apartment for 20 years and that wont be talking to dead husband during lunch. Generally the actors play perfectly dramatic role with their interpretations to be more than sufficient. However, the charming Paula Trueman (The Outlaw Josey Wales, Dirty Dancing, etc.) stand out sharply in my personal estimation. I wish I were more frequently innovative movies like this.

Difficult to identify anything negative here. Maybe you'd like a little more gore and a slightly faster pace.
