Is one of the few movies from which stars Christopher Lee which I really liked. The film begins with the burning of a witch's curse that leaves in the city that would get her revenge. And somewhat so we include the Office of Professor Alan Driscoll (Christopher Lee) who tells the story of Elizabeth Selwyn, who was condemned to the stake as a witch. The Nan impressed by the story of the witch accepts the proposal of Professor to visit the city in which burned the Elizabeth and study the place and its history. Goes well in Whitewood but stay only there would create problems.

Horror Trivia

The film is the first production of Amicus Productions, the largest and most successful rival Hammer the 60s and 70s. But then, it was known as Vulcan Productions.

Intense atmosphere, with dense fog, ruined and destroyed buildings from the 17th century. The interpretations of the actors are excellent with that of Patricia Jessel as Elizabeth Selwyn apart by far. Also excellent and Venetia Stevenson as Nan which are not the dumb girl that we are accustomed to modern horror films. The Christopher Lee always imposing and blosyros is amazing in the role of Professor. Another positive is the film and musical of the subject that I find particularly successful and fitting.

The haze covering the city and gives the eerie element, the excellent Patricia Jessel and quick plot.

The penultimate scene in the movie is a little far-fetched in terms of time.

I love good cinema in all its kinds. But horror movies are my favorite. Nothing compares to a good horror movie. So I consider it my duty to inform you, horror fans for classical and not just horror movies. To remember the old and young people learn.
