When we first learned the news about the new run of the classic "Carrie" (1976) somewhere in 2011, many surely felt embarrassed. How much better could made a remake of that awesome footage of Brian De Palma's 1976? Few believe it would be very optimistic and having now seen the remake I can feel vindicated that I belonged to those with low expectations.
The new ' Carrie ' under the direction of Kimberly Peirce, not necessarily not random varies much from the original, being similar to the staple trunk with only a few variations, some of which attempt to adapt the film to date. The Carrie now lives in the modern world of moyratwn mobile phones, the internet and youtube. These customizations I created an early komplarisma but I overcame it quickly dedicating my attention to other features of the film. I must say that the duo Julianne Moore-Chloë Grace Moretz turns out good chemistry with the first to undertake the role of sick thriskoliptis and yperprostateytikis Manas and the second the difficult role of Carrie perithwriopoiimenis. However this is not enough chemistry to high levels where it had climbed the corresponding quirky relationship Manas and Carrie in the original film.
Initially the role her mother Carrie was intended for Jodie Foster, while the role of Carrie dismissed the Shailene Woodley (The Descendants, The Spectacular Now, etc.).
The Julianne Moore pay earnest attempt to look decadent and aperipoiiti, tattered and self-destructive of excessive bigotry that the Spurs. But at the level of paranoia is not close to the wide interpretation of Piper Laurie with that rigorous fist and the incomparably severe style tsakize bones. The Moretz who impressed us with his outstanding performance in ' Let Me In ' 2010, catching occasional palpitations of apoxenwmenis and Carrie irate but basically too ' sweet ' and simplistic for a particular role. Lacks and that creepy, petrified gaze of Sissy Spacek, therefore any comparison turns out winning the protagonists of the original film.
However, I feel that if there were not at least these two remarkable instances of Moore and Moretz, the new ' Carrie ' would be even more indifferent. These two keep an interesting, by lifting the heavy load alone regardless if by the end of the difficult path they will stumble in the insurmountable obstacles that raises the radiation of the old "Carrie". The expected much more violent sequences of prom gives some points in the remake, with the scene of furious Carrie dramatically eliminates a couple in their car to stand out conspicuously.
The final taste that stays but it is bittersweet. Feelings of unease, bewilderment and mild frustration cannot with abandon as the remake doesn't seem to finally have reason to exist beyond the levy. His character is purely procedural. Any chronological and cultural facelift does not offer genuine freshness to the project but degrades into teen chazocharoymena levels, hampering the development of persuasive drama Carrie's staff which is the essence of the film. Certainly anyone who has not seen the old "Carrie" will pass well watching the new effort by Kimberly Peirce. But any comparison with the original is simply unrealistic. How to do IE. Not considered randomly some classic horror movies …
- The opening scene where Carrie's mother tries to kill the newborn baby girl who just pulled out from her womb.
- The scene that Carrie's mother secretly aytotraymatizetai the time that gives a dress to a client.
- Expected, the bloody scene where Carrie unleashes his vengeful Mania's through tilekinitikwn properties of a night of dancing.

The good performances of Julianne Moore and Chloë Grace Moretz that keep the film tolerable, the bloody sequences from the graduation dance.
The main disadvantage is the inability of the film seem necessary as a remake of the classic 1976 film or as a new adaptation of the classic novel of King. Also some scenario-additions seem completely unnecessary as Sue's visit at the home of Carrie in a anempneysto Wed-a-Tet without emotion.
