It will take what you love most
Robust direction, continuous suspense after about half of the project, terrifying stunts with top the whacky leykontymeni mother, dark atmosphere, pessimistic atmosphere.
Existence of known clichés in somewhat annoying frequency, delayed start of action, certain simplifications and any frivolity in the scenario.
And then came the second part of the successful "Insidious" by James Wan, a talented director who employs often in recent years with films and the project. The "Insidious: Chapter 2" has made sweeping course at box office amassing over $ 128 million worldwide, or nearly 26 times the budget. Such spectacular numbers certainly makes you wonder if all this fuss about it is justified by the quality of the film. Let us therefore examine in detail …
In the second part about the Lambert family we met who pestered at first "Insidious" attempt new start leaving in the past the dramatic events that have bedeviled. Though various outlandish incidents indicate that the links with the shadowy world of spirits have not cut off completely, resulting in new dark clouds gathered over the homemade nice otherwise diatarazontas family peace.
Many actors who played in the first "Insidious" and participate in the sequel. The duo Patrick Wilson – Rose Byrne turns out good chemistry without being a separate paste actors. Nice Lin Shaye has its contribution in the activities fighting the evil spirits in the dark ' intermediate ' world, but with slightly more shrunken role. Generally in declaratory part doesn't have any serious complaint, despite the surface growth of most characters and get what you need from a horror movie commercial. Also – and this is the positive of the case – are given the impression that the sequel is not meaningless but "needed" somehow since it explains the origin of this connection of Lambert with the supernatural world of tormented souls.
In the film we meet and a cameo appearance by Director James Wan, a computer wallpaper along with screenwriter Leigh Whannell and actor Angus Sampson.
I must confess that in the beginning and after the end of the half and put the hour wasn't particularly optimistic after developments seemed overly standardized and indifferent. While the film shows that is bogged down with the languid Rota, suddenly the Wan Accelerator, presses "beats" the necessary energy injections at all and ejects his work filodwrwntas the public with good doses of suspense, unleashing one horrific scene after another. Takes care to maintain the known but useful dark atmosphere filling the heroes with feelings of uncertainty and despair because of difficult enemy encountered. The explanations given are considered generally satisfactory though could be even better.
So what is the verdict? Definitely spend well watching the "Insidious: Chapter 2". Clearly it is less tiring than the agonizing The Conjuring ' Visual ' of the same Director but doesn't offer anything new on the scene of horror. But meaningful existence within the total bonded frame that has been built up by his predecessor. And not to forget and probably necessary compared to the original film of 2011, I have the impression that the first "Insidious" was a little higher and a little fresher. However those who have enjoyed the first part and generally feel attracted by the elaborate directed by James Wan, you will like and the sequel.
Insidious: Chapter 2
- The horrific scene where a sick elderly attacks sharply on Josh stood there at the hospital.
- Tearing vs. Josh attack his family after first dissolves the door that separates them. The scene witnessed by the clear influence of the "Radiance" and how well the Wan studied Kubrick.
- The imposing presence of crazed mother leykontymenis, one of the most remarkable figures of metaphysical horror that we have seen in recent years. Puts a welcome artistic touch to the film.
