Next summer begin shooting the new IT
I bet most will remember that the legendary 1990 telemovie based on the classic Stephen King's horror novel titled "It" which was released in 1986. It seems the creepy monster in the form of Pennywise the clown who we met in ' This ' will xanastoicheiwsei the dreams of many in the near future.
Recently they have begun the preparatory work for a new transfer of the great author's book on the screen and these days it became known that the shooting of the new transfer of "It" will start next summer. In directing will be the Director and executive producer of HBO's successful series of police "True Detective", Cary Fukunaga. Scenario have edited the Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga and David Kajganich.
I also learned that the film will be divided into two parts, into two separate films with the first essentially describes the events of the past and the second ones of this (something like ' did It ' 1990). So far the Fukunaga has hired the first but is very likely to take the second.
About the project the producer Dan Lin made some clarificatory statements on the website of the Vulture. Some excerpts of his statements is the following:
"The Cary (r.r. Fukunaga) wont work projects for some time and we process this film here and 3 or 4 years. That is why we are very happy that he stayed in it. The new film will delight you … (…) … The book is so epic that it was impossible to tell in one film, nor to develop characters with the necessary depth … (…) … Most importantly, the Stephen King gave us his blessing. We didn't want to move if not felt (r.r. the King) that was the right way to do it and when we sent the script the answer received the Cary was "God be with you! This version should follow the studio ". So it was very pleasing for us. "
Of course we wonder how many friends of original film wanting a new transfer of ' It ' ...
