The Guillermo del Toro curated series of horror books
The great Mexican Director who has often dealt with her friends horror scene with remarkable to film San, doing once again … with a little differently this time. The Guillermo del Toro well, recently started an interesting collaboration with Penguin Classics forms falling Penguin Books editions. Specifically we are the Publisher of a series of 6 books with classic tales of horror by top writers of the genre.
The stories will be included in the series are as follows: The Haunting of Hill House of ShirleyJackson, The Thing on the Doorstep and Other Weird Stories of H.P. Lovecraft, The Edgar Allan Poe's Raven, Haunted Castles of Ray Russell, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and American Supernatural Tales with stories written by Stephen King, Shirley Jackson and other authors.
Knowing what we fear, we learn who we are
written by del Toro in the introduction of the series giving the stigma for those who follow then. The series will be released on Sept. 24. The covers were designed by Artistic Director of Penguin Classics Paul Buckley and have already made public.
